| Bail set for three additional suspects in robbery at North Bergen poker game
Three additional suspects have been arrested in connection with the gunpoint robbery of $5,000 from the table of a North Bergen poker game on July 15, and all three made their first appearances on the charges yesterday, officials said. Reputed Bloods street gang member Andrew Cruz, 32, of 68th Street in Guttenberg, was the first charged in the robbery of $5,000 from 10 gamblers during the poker game in a garage on 79th Street in North Bergen, officials said last week. Herberto Martinez, 38, of 68th Street in Guttenberg; Matthew J. Gale,[url=http://www.floware.fr]michael kors femmes[/url], 31, of Westwood, and Christina L. Slaughter, 39, of Leesburg, have now also been charged in the incident in which a man was pistol whipped and the gamblers were ordered to the floor and robbed of valuables, officials said. Martinez and Gale are charged with weapons offenses related to handguns, aggravated assault, burglary, and numerous robbery and criminal restraint counts, the complaint says, adding that their bails have been set at $250,000 cash only. Slaughter is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, and theft related to receiving two Louis Vuitton bags taken from one of the poker players, the complaint says, adding that her bail was set at $200,000 cash only. |
